Requests for Permission to Skate 

A "Permission to Skate" form is required if a player currently registered with the Stratford Aces Girls Hockey Association wishes to attend rep tryouts or practice with another association. Permission to Skate forms are time-limited and are valid only for the specified period recorded on the form. A separate form is required for each team/association the player wishes to try out for. Please send requests for "Permission to Skate" forms to 2grazs@rogers.com stating the following:

a) Subject line - Permission to Skate Request

b) Player's full name

c) Team and Association Name for which she is trying out for

d) Time Frame

Requests for Player Releases 

An OWHA "Player Release" is required for all Stratford Aces players who wish to move to another Association.

Releases are approved by a quorum of the SGHA Executive at regular monthly Board meetings. Therefore, if you know that you will be making such a move, it is your responsibility to request a “Player Release” on a timely basis. All association and team fees must be paid and all SGHA equipment must be returned before we will process a release.

Releases must be requested in writing to 2grazs@rogers.com stating:

1. player’s name

2. date of birth

3. mailing address

4. previous (2007-2008) team

5. intended destination association and team for the 2008-2009 season
(eg London Devilettes, Bantam AA)

Failure to provide the complete information requested above will result in a delay processing your Release
